Today, Microsoft China announced that it will punish its pirated Windows users with "black screen" and periodic warnings from the 20th, October.

News reported that if Windows XP users failed the legal verification, when they enter the system, the system background color will become black. Users can reset the background color, but it will be black again each 60 minutes.

Besides that, there will also be warnings. On the login window, there will always be a dialog box telling you something like "you may be the victim of pirated software".

If Office users didn't pass the legal verification, there will be a pop up to tell you that you are pirated software users. Users will get the warnings on the opening of Office software and each 2 hours after that during the first two weeks. From the fifteenth to thirtieth day, Office software will show that it would add visual signs. After the first month, users will receive the signs on the menu bar.

Survey results showed that more than 65% users think  that Windows XP and Microsoft Office software are too expensive and can not afford them. 20% of them didn't like Microsoft's action.

Maybe there are something more...
